TopBlox Support & FAQ
Practical help for getting started, finding your saved games and getting into your next Roblox session.
Download and compatibility
Start with the download and setup guide. TopBlox is distributed through the Overwolf store; this website does not host a separate installer.
What do I need to use TopBlox?
A supported Windows PC, Overwolf, the Roblox desktop client and an internet connection. Check the store listing for current compatibility. Browsing this website on a Mac or phone does not mean the desktop app is available for that device.
Do I play Roblox inside this website?
No. This website introduces TopBlox and provides help. The desktop app helps you discover and select experiences, and Roblox runs the game.
Launching a game
Play Now did not open the game. What should I try?
Check that Roblox can open on its own and that Overwolf is running. Give an existing launch time to finish before retrying: TopBlox suppresses overlapping requests and ordinary launches while Roblox is already running. If a browser or Roblox confirmation appears, follow the prompt. If it still fails, send us the steps and any error message.
Can I switch games while Roblox is already running?
Ordinary Play Now requests are suppressed while Roblox runs. In Action mode, explicitly choosing Start or Next can request a switch to a different experience. In Islands, use Play, Next/Skip or retry. These switches depend on TopBlox reliably identifying your current Roblox session; overlapping requests and the short launch cooldown still apply.
The Action countdown or active Islands checklist starts only after game events confirm the selected experience. Sending a launch request alone does not confirm arrival. Islands challenge completion remains manual.
Why did a browser tab or Roblox confirmation appear?
TopBlox includes a browser fallback when its direct handoff is unavailable. A browser confirmation can be part of that route. The app also offers a Roblox website launch preference in Settings. See the launcher guide for more.
Saved games and local progress
Where are my Favorites and Play Later games?
These lists and your quiz preferences are stored locally on the device. They are not a cloud-synced library. A different device or local user scope may show different saved data.
Why is some playtime missing?
Tracking depends on Overwolf receiving enough reliable information to identify the experience while Roblox runs. It is not guaranteed for every game or session. Missing time does not mean Roblox failed to run.
Can I clear cached content or reset local progress?
In Settings, the Local data area has separate controls for Cached content and Local progress. Clearing cached content is different from clearing progress. Resetting Local progress removes local tracked time, Played status and Islands journey/challenge progress after confirmation and cannot be undone; only use it when you intend to reset that data. Favorites and Play Later are separate from this progress reset.
Catalog and connection problems
If game details or fresh recommendations are unavailable, check your internet connection and try again later. TopBlox can show cached or bundled collections when remote content is unavailable. A screenshot may show an example state rather than current game availability or player counts. If the problem continues, tell us which collection or game was affected.
Usage analytics and privacy
The desktop app has a Usage analytics control in Settings. Disabling it stops the app’s usage analytics collection; local progress can continue. The website does not provide that app setting.
Our privacy policy explains the website and desktop app separately, including external services. See the cookie policy for the current website’s use of browser storage.
